Becca Grogan // Creative

Welcome to the South Ranch.

Becca here. I am the sole creative here behind South Ranch Creative. Since 2015, this business has grown out of a desire to share my passions, experiences, and world wonder in the best way I know how: creating.

In 2015 I received my B.F.A. in Visual Communication Design from Virginia Tech.  After spending four years nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, becoming a passionate activist, and igniting an interest in sustainability and my environmental impact, I found myself unsure of how to move forward in this world with the new me. Ultimately I realized that if I wanted to stay true to my values and pursue creatively what really interested me, I would have to do it on my own. That’s when South Ranch Creative was born.

Creating for Purpose.

My work is strongly influenced by travel experiences, a passion for environmental and social justice, and a deep love of nature. You’ll see remnants of my experiences throughout my work, from scenes I experienced while traveling across country by train to posters and clothing inspired by social issues of our time. For me, art is a way for myself and others to speak their values, and bring about positive change along the way. That’s why I am constantly considering how my work, my packaging, and my processes can be more environmentally friendly, and how I can use my creations to give back to nonprofits and the causes I care most about.
